Wildflower inspired spring wedding | The rutherford
We are pretty obsessed with Carly and Austin’s spring wedding at the Rutherford. All of the colors and flower choices Rachel (of Rachel Deneroy Designs) used to bring Carly’s vision to life is truly a dream!
Carly and Austin met while in college at Anderson University. One of her bridesmaids had worked with our dear vendor friend Rachel previously and Rachel recommended us to be her planner. We began working with Carly last fall and just love her sweet personality and the vision she created for her wedding. Carly and Austin really wanted a non-traditional meal and chose Barberitos for catering. Let’s just say - we are fans of this!
Carly came to our White Friday weekend last year and the Harper gown was literally made for her!! It fit her personality and wedding vision so well. We loved not only getting to plan with and style the bride, but the groomsmen too!
The Rutherford is such a great venue as they have so much space to use and each space is different from the others. We held the ceremony upstairs with cocktail hour out back on the patio. The reception was downstairs and the couple and bridal party made their grand entrance down the stairs.
Our favorite memories of this wedding are quite a few to be honest:

This bridal party kept the dance floor going all night long and was so fun to be around

Our favorite part, however, was the confetti exit! With the ceremony being earlier in the day and the sun still out late, Carly and Austin opted for a dried flower confetti exit and it was perfect! Georgia Buckner captured this joyful exit so well and it’s one we dream about all the time!
